Comments about 719T 1-Phase 1-Horsepower 115/230 Volt Tilt Table Mortiser:

Heavy and solidly built. Mortise cuts are clean, and accurate. Being able to move the table is a great time saver when it comes to indexing the cuts. Great tool. If you don't have a helper when putting together, lay the tool on its back. Attach the cabinet and lift the unit up as a whole.

Comments about Powermatic 719T 1-Phase 1-Horsepower 115/230 Volt Tilt Table Mortiser:

I do a lot of interior yacht carpentry and have recently been dabbling with some custom furniture for home use; this unit is a major time saver! The table clamp and ability to move the table L-R as well as front-back (versus having to adjust the work piece) is wonderful when it comes to ganging pieces up and doing a lot of consistent and accurate mortises. Well worth the price tag! Accuracy and finish are top notch and it's operation is quiet and fluid. [...]once set up the weight is a welcome benefit (this thing is rock solid and does not vibrate). Very happy with it!

Comments about Powermatic 719T 1-Phase 1-Horsepower 115/230 Volt Tilt Table Mortiser:

Easy set-up, but heavy. Assembly tip: lay the machine on its back, attach the base, then stand it up. I did it myself, but with an extra person you could avoid the potential hernia.
Quiet, powerful and accurate. Could you ask for more from a tool. Fit and finish were top notch. I fitted mine with the premium Lee Valley chisels and they do not require the chuck extension (supplied). So far have only done some test cuts and have been impressed. I will be adding a lift to the base as it's quite short for me, I'm 6'4" and find it uncomfortable leaning over that much.
I considered a benchtop unit but didn't want to contemplate upgrading in 6 months (been there, done that). This machine should fit my present and future needs.
