I have a General Industrial F42-T50 Rail/fence system. I lost the rip fence in a move, do you know if this fence will work with the rail system I have?

How much is the rail set?
Are the rail sets compatable with a Delta Unisaw (Old)

    • A:

The rails are compatible with just about any saw, you may have to drill your own holes to line up with the holes in the rail set and be prepared to get extra nuts and bolts if you are installing it onto any saw other than the JET models it is made for (I just installed a set on my aged Craftsman cast iron table) - works great!
Note, only the front rail is needed to support the guide tube, onto which the fence grips. The fence rides on top of your table, the back rail is not actually needed, other than being a stiffener bracket for the table and extension table (if you have one).
I looked at several fence systems, including the Biesmeyer, which has a reputation for being the best. This Jet system outperforms them all, smooth action and completely solid when you lock it. It also has multiple adjustment systems to correct for wear and tear, but is came true and straight with the factory settings.
